Alumni

Alumni society “Anandita” is one of the strong inspirations for the students of Anand Vihar College for women. The Alumni have always been contributing to the College in terms of Intellectual resources. Various academic and co-curricular activities are carried out in the college through the Alumni Association for the benefit of the present day students and for the growth of the Institution. The Alumni members play vital role in the organization, by enacting a role as a mentor for their fellow students. Expert advice is derived from them during their interaction with present day students. Their practical suggestions enshrine the execution of the latest curriculum on the basis of the demands of the job sector. The Alumni imparts guest talks on latest issues and also share their experiences of job sector and life, which helps the students to conceptualize the facts. The Alumni has been the biggest support and encouragement for the students. This association was established with the sole aim of setting up an excellent network between our students and alumni and enhances their lifelong connection with the Institution. We create and promote bonds with our alumni and inspire them to care about the past, present and future of the college. The services and programs rendered will strengthen our efforts in maintaining this long term relationship.

Objectives

• To encourage, foster and promote close relation between the organisation and Alumni.
• To arrange Alumni Meet that provides platform to the old students to reunite and relive the memories during their stay in the institute.
• To promote a sense of belongingness to their mother institute, among the Alumni by being in regular touch with them.
• To provide a platform for exchanging of ideas in academic, cultural, social issues which will be helpful in future making of present students.
