Principal's Verse

Anand Vihar College for Women is a holistic centre of learning with different perspectives for overall development of the students to enshrine India’s future with empowered genesis of girls. Beside academics the college offers zest for deep learning, experimentation and practical approach towards life. The principal of the college enthuse the faculty members to inculcate innovative practices in regular classroom teaching to make the teaching learning process more purposeful and meaningful. To accomplish effective teaching learning in the college all the faculty members are encouraged for peer group presentation, group discussion and project work along with innovative teaching techniques. Students have access to internet facility to inculcate online learning management resources. In the library e-book, e-journal facilities are available for students and teachers.

Our students nurture a dream to explore the endless limit of the sky while holding tightly the harsh realities of life. Our vision is based on hard work, open communication, a strong emphasis on team work and a high level of responsibility. This visionary culture allows and emphasizes our wards not only to adopt the present day challenges but also individual responsibilities to the society and our nation at large. Learning should be based on doing things and not merely knowing things. Until and unless learning solutions relate to real life and motivate the learner to acquire and apply the knowledge, the whole process will remain superficial.
